David was born and raised in Charleston, and from a very young age, an appreciation for the area’s natural resources and quality of life were instilled in him. After attending Bishop England High School, David graduated from The United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, New York, where he earned a commission in the Navy, a BS in Logistics and an unlimited tonnage Merchant Mariners License. While his time there was by no means an easy road, looking back he can now appreciate the discipline, integrity and values instilled in him as a cadet. Having traveled to over 50 countries in his 15 years in the shipping industry, David would not choose to live anywhere other than Charleston.
After a successful career driving ships, David’s ties to the Lowcountry drew him back to Charleston where he began working alongside his mother, Barbara Harper, a 20-year veteran in the real estate business. Having managed a crew of 200 in an extremely high stress, high-risk environment, David brings a unique set of skills and a calm, professional demeanor to his business. With an unlimited tonnage coast guard license and local knowledge, David has the ability to take you in the boat to explore waterfront property or give you a different perspective on charleston.
David’s adventurous spirit has enabled him to find many of the hidden gems that Charleston has to offer. Goose Andrews

Born in Mississippi goose comes from a long family of duck hunting dogs. She has lived in Charleston since she was 6 weeks old and enjoys all the outdoor opportunities charleston has to offer.
Consistly a multi-million dollar producer for 18 of her 19 years in Real Estate, Barbara's knowledge and experience are only part of the basis for her success. She loves what she does; helping people with a big and sometimes emotional decision. Barbara doesn't just sell her buyers a house, she makes sure they understand as much as possible about the lifestyle of a location, any quirks about the area, and whether they will have nightmarish traffic commuting for work. She also guides them through the process of negotiations, inspections, choosing a closing attorney, appraisals, insurance, utility service, etc, etc, etc....all the way until they walk away from the closing table with keys in hand.
Barbara was fortunate to have grown up in the beautiful Lowcountry of Charleston and has lived in Mt Pleasant, Summerville, Downtown Charleston, Johns Island and currently lives on a creek in a super West Ashley neighborhood. She was a Registered Dental Hygienist in her first career and loved being able to work part time while her children were young. Then she stepped into the Real Estate world thinking it would be a fun thing to do. It turned out to be oh, so much fun!!!. She loves it and a 50-60 hour work week can be typical.
Family is foremost for Barbara and she is blessed with a warm and loving one...all the way from a bright and spry 91 year old mother to the cutest 4 year old grandson. Big blessings with the best husband, most wonderful 4 grown children and 4 extra special grandchildren from Maine to Florida.
Exciting news for 2017 is that Barbara's son, David Andrews, has left his career in shipping to come into the Real Estate business with her. HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY!!! He brings enthusiasm, energy and a wonderfully fresh approach to helping buyers and sellers. He and his sweet wife have just undergone a large renovation of their home so he has some great experience and wisdom to impart regarding buying a fixer-upper.
Education is an important part of this business and Barbara enjoys taking courses to stay abreast of the ever changing real estate market.
